So here we are, roughly half way through the year. How are you doing with your fitness goals? Closer to your ideal weight? Or not?
I really believe that fitness is an all year round thing, not just something that you do after Christmas or on the run up to your annual holiday.
Someone once remarked to me about how fitness training in films is always shown as a montage with someone running in the sunshine then through the snow – that’s because it is a long term commitment to doing a little every day or every week.
There’s no short cut to fitness, it’s a life choice - make it part of your routine like your weekly trip to the supermarket.
No one else can do it for you, it’s up to you to put on your trainers and just do it!
And, yes, it will be hard, it will be uncomfortable, it may hurt for a couple of days after and you will get hot and sweaty. But nothing good happens without effort and hard work, and it’ll be worth it!
