Fitness Clothing

I’ve had a couple of questions recently about where to get new workout clothes, which sports bras I recommend and what to look for when buying trainers… Trainers - any sort are ok as long as they have cushioned soles and allow you to swivel your feet. Look for the flattest soles (and the prettiest colours)! You may find that running shoes do not allow you to slide and swivel for Zumba and Clubbercise due their deep tread which may aggravate the knees. I buy mine from Sports Direct but Abingdon Sports also have a great range and they can offer you advice and fitting (and ask for the 10% Gemma Pearce Fitness discount!). I can’t emphasise enough how important it is to wear a good bra when exercising! I wear Shock Absorber Run bras but I have also heard good things about the Debenhams own brand sports bras and the ones from Sainsburys. For clothing, I love Sweaty Betty but they are very expensive so it’s worth checking for bargains on eBay! I also spend lots in TK Maxx but it’s a little hit and miss what you will find there. The best leggings in terms of price, range of colours and quality are USA Pro from Sports Direct. Good places for tops are H&M, Decathlon, George at ASDA and good old M&S! Happy shopping - if you have any more tips on where to shop, please share them on Facebook or Twitter!
