More Motivation

Updated: Aug 31, 2021

Are you lacking in motivation? Are you struggling to hit your goals at the moment? We all want to be fitter, healthier, slimmer, more toned etc. But sometimes it’s completely overwhelming, isn’t it! Sometimes we give up because we’re not getting results as fast as we expect. Make your goals realistic, with small steps planned out. Decide what type of exercise you’re going to do each week and when - and stick to it! Sticking to a plan is about developing habits and hopefully even enjoying it! If you’ve tried doing exercise you really didn’t enjoy, why not try something completely different; go for a walk, a swim or try a different class. Classes can make you feel more motivated than if you were exercising by yourself or, if you really don’t want to workout in front of others, do an exercise video at home… even if it’s just for 10 minutes. Exercise releases endorphins so when you finish any workout, you’ll feel satisfied knowing you’ve worked out and burned some calories that bring you closer to your goal. Every time you exercise, you’re burning fat and toning up - whether or not you can see it, it really is working! So, this week, I’m challenging you to do 3 things every day:

  1. Exercise for at least 10 minutes every day. Go for a brisk walk in your lunch hour, come to a class or try my HIIT workout here

  2. Eat a different green vegetable every day – broccoli, asparagus, spinach, watercress, rocket, green beans, or peas

  3. Look in the mirror and give yourself a compliment – it doesn’t matter what it is, just say something positive every day about the way you look, how hard you work or for completing your workout!

Let me know how you get on by getting in contact here.
