Fitness Classes at Steventon Village Hall
I’m Gemma, I live in Steventon and I've been running Gemma Pearce Fitness since 2011.
I teach various dance fitness and Pilates classes in village halls in Steventon, Abingdon and Chilton. All of our classes are designed for people who wouldn’t want to go to a gym but want to move more, dance, feel better and take a break from stress.

We believe that the best way to get fit and stay healthy is to enjoy what you do, whether you’re 25 or 85. A little exercise makes such a difference - whether it’s for mental health, reducing your waistline, easing back pain or just having fun!
All our classes are so supportive, non-judgemental and full of fun and we hope to meet you soon!
Here are the classes we've currently got running in Steventon:

Groovelates
What is it?
This class is a bit of a Legs Bums & Tums class to 70s and 80s music. It’s a core-tastic class with choreographed toning routines to retro songs you know and love! We start with a standing aerobics warm up then we come down onto the mat to work on the abs, bum and back. You’ll recognise lots of the exercises from Pilates but this class is choreographed and faster paced for avery different sort of workout!
Who is it for?
Groovelates is for people who want to tone up and who love 70s and 80s music! That tends to be women in their 40s and 50s–in fact this is the perfect class if you’re menopausal.
Where and when is it? Groovelates is on Wednesdays at 7pm at Steventon Village Hall.
How do I join?

Who is it for?
Gold Aerobics participants are ladies who are over 50, usually retired and looking for a class to do during the day. This class is energetic and active and but as it is low impact you’ll be improving your cardiovascular fitness… with none of the dreaded jumping jacks!
